      FIELD TRIP - October 26th - Wilson's Apple Orchard, Grades K-2, 2:15-5:15 pm

         (no cost to students)

Students were assigned a "group color" and leader daily.  Their color will not change however it is possible their leader may depending on the schedule.  Students are to notify their leader at the time of departure.  PLEASE ask them if they notified their leader prior to departing.  Also, do not forget to sign-in or out as our records are required and audited under the DHS license.  Thank you for you assistance.

Physical activity is a very important part of the students day as the lack of movement continues to decrease in our society and as a licensed provider of care we will require students to go outside daily (weather permitting).  The only exception for students to not go outside will be if they are sick (waiting for a parent to pick-them up) or a  medical reason (parent MUST provide a written note).  Students may take out their homework, book or other item however they will be responsible for their personal items they take outside.

Reminder.....Small toys, stuffed animals, etc., are not allowed during the students time at LOC.  This decision is based off of students losing their toy, breaking their toy or not wanting others to play with.  We will ask the student to put their items in their backpack once they want to show us their item.  We recognize students may feel anxious and have a desire to bring along their favorite toy however we request your understanding in trying to protect students property.

Thank you if you sent an extra set of undergarments, shorts/pants and socks for all students in Kindergarten and 1st grade.  We have seen "accidents" in the past and unfortunately we do not have a supply of extra clothing.  Please place the items in a ziplock bag with the child's name and give to a staff member.

Family Folders are provided for each student which are located in the black rolling file cart by the check-out table.  Please check often.

REMINDER....No school or programing October 6 & 9 as school is not in session.
